- Illegal tyres could cost you a 3 point penalty per tyre and a maximum £2,500 fine
- We recommend you change your tyres at 3mm tread depth rather than waiting for the 1.6mm legal limit as tyres show a significant decline in performance when tread depth falls below 3mm
